Distributor pick up coil is missing?!
351M/400 use the same engine block, the casting number is the same for both: D7TE-6015-A2B .. So neither has 351M or 400 cast on it.
DuraSpark electronic ignition introduced in 1974, but not all F100/350's have it until 1976.
1977: Ford introduced a new V8 distributor cap, it has male ends and an adapter below that the cap snaps onto.

Someone swapped in the points dist for a reason. So obviously there was an issues in the Duraspark set up.
If you are unsure on how to change or adjust the points there are lots of videos online on how to change and adjust points.
A gap 0.019" will get ya running. Gap ranged between 0.017-0.021" depending on year, so 0.019" will get it running.
Once the points are set up you up you can then worry about timing etc.
Is the emissions sticker still on the engines valve cover ?
Since engine condition is unknown I would do this to get the motor running to see what you have and to see if further investment is warranted.
No point in buying a new dist for an engine that may get replaced with something else.
And really since you have a good dist that will have a better ignition curve than the later duraspark units the easiest and cheapest solution is to swap in a Fast or pertronix unit I prefer the Fast unit which was the Old Crane Cams piece.

You will have no issues selling the points dist later on if you swap it out.
I did not look that close if burnt or not but could use a point file, doesn't everyone have one in the tool box? Can use fine sand paper to clean them up a little and check the gap to get it running.
Now you need to do a little checking.
With the points cleaned up do you have spark when the motor is cranking or turning over?
Is the new fuel pump pumping fuel to the carb and is the gas fresh? Maybe use a small gas can and along rubber hose to pull gas thru.
Was the gas fresh or old? If old that can make it hard to start & run. Don't add fresh gas to old gas it does not work, its still old gas.
If the gas was good the carb may need a rebuild if it would only run with foot on the pedal.
So we should have spark and fuel and if the spark happens at the right time and it cranks / turns over it should start.
