compression?
I know compression can cause misfires and loss of power. In particular in my 2005 F-150, I get constant misfire when cold (open loop). It also always hesitates on heavy acceleration. Once it warms up (closed loop), the misfire clears up and runs pretty smooth. It does feel like I'm losing power somewhere.
Replaced plugs, coils, injectors, MAF, and fuel filter.
The ONLY codes I get are 0304/0308 with rare 0300.
Can this be a compression issue?
I'm even considering timing components.

Thanks! I had considered the CATS, but was unsure. The only reason I haven't pulled the O2 sensors to test for back pressure was lack of the correct tool. I have the O2 sensor removal wrench now. I'll pull them and see what it does.
