Good afternoon Robert and how has your day been? Wife and I had a day off together and have had a great time relaxing together and watching it rain as usual!
Well good checkup today and 21 staples removed. They are not bothering me anymore. Checked on my F450 today while I was in Shreveport. It is missing bad. I’ll put my 250 to work next week towing it home.
6.0. My mechanic and I are both thinking head gaskets. In the last 2 years we have replaced turbo, fuel pump and all of the injectors. It hasn’t puked. Coolant is low and has had a whistle when under load. I hate to keep sinking money in it but do not have 90k to replace it with a new one. If we replace head gaskets, studs and make sure heads are straight it will be good.
I had 2 60’s in the past. I had very good luck out of them. My truck I had studs, gaskets and delete. My excursion had 180,000 and had never had anything done to it.
What I have seen, is a good one is a good one and after the "fix" they are "a good one" as well. Back in the early days some updates were lacking in knowledge and they did not hold.
