We have the 20" rims with the Michelin LTX AT's.
As soon as I bought the truck went to Americas Tire and bought the tire coverage package.
Just rotated and balanced the tires for a 2nd time.
Drove out of the Americas Tire and the steering wheel was off center slightly to the left. No apparent drift.
Pressure set as before - front and rear.
Drove for about 250 miles.
Took it back to Americas Tire. Manager said it was alignment.
I finally got them to rotate them back and of course the steering wheel is straight again.
Called Ameicas Tire and they said call Michelin - Lesson learned - Unlike when you buy a new set of tires - The Amercias Tire Policy will not cover a new set of OEM tires that may be defective.....
Any way I'll just run em as is for now.
Anoyone else run into the steering wheel off center after a rotation.
Suggestions for new shoes on the 20" factory rims?
Asked - they said the coverage is only for road hazards ETC on OEM tires. Lesson learned.
Kind of a side note - I have several rides and have bought all the tires at Americas Tire. Noticed the local service levels have been dropping - the local one looked to be running pretty thin on labor - on the other hand the prices have been rising. Not sure there is any relationship but the founder - the guy who built the business on "customer comes first" had been ill and died earlier this year. Guessing maybe the new leaders have a bit of a different focus - then again maybe not.
Talked to Michelin - they will pro rate / credit for all 4 tires. They said credit would 66% of the price of the AT/2, Have to replace with Michelin or BFG. Seems weird but I'm told it has to be the same size. if I'm going to replace em wanted to go to 285/65 - 20
The choices are:
MIchelin AT/2 - same as factory
MIchelin Defender LTX
BF Goodrich All Terrian KO2
Nitto ridge grappler if you want a decent all terrian with street manners or Cooper AT3 if you want a more mild tread tire.
I went up to the 295/65R20 and am very happy.

Thoughts????
If you like the stock tires, get them again. If not, I’d go with the BFG AT KO2.
