This is the correct method for more low end HP/torque.

You want the PCV fumes ingested into/at the manifold carb plenum wheres the engine oil fumes will be equally distributed to all cylinders to prevent fouling.

You want the booster signal to be sourced from an intake runner so as to lessen the chance of gas/oil fumes being ingested into the booster.

How tall of a spacer can you use without hood closing interference?

With the spacer pictured, does it matter if the fitting faces to the front or the rear of the engine?

Used a near inch solid old aluminum spacer from Ebay, was cheap.
Yellow is insert I made to keep primary velocity up. I beveled the edge top.
Red is two 1/'4 bolts threaded inward from the sides, to lock the insert in place.
Hose barb (3/8"?)is a joiner piece for two hoses, J B Welded, and secured with a pin.
Used long 5/16" studs cut from threaded rod, tight into intake. These are before cutting.
Lubed all gaskets with wheel bearing grease.
Used Ny-lock nuts & washers on top of carb holes.
Does not need be real tight.

@tbear853

That is pretty slick tbear.

I just ordered a 1" 4-Hole phenolic spacer for my rig. I plan to turn it into a divided 2-hole spacer (to match the dual plane intake), at the recommendation of a friend. If I lose anything over the standard 4-hole, it was an inexpensive experiment.
His theory, is that with the spacer to match the intake, it should hep fuel to be more evenly distributed to all the runners in the intake. Whether or not this is a sound theory, I am willing to give it a shot. Hopefully I do not lose too much velocity for the primaries. Once I get it all done, I can post it back here as well as in my own build thread.

Thank You ..... I doubt that you'll loose anything, and you can see a spot of J B Weld where I filled in the pin, but not needed as the underside is over that wall too so the pin is "captured" anyway. I didn't need to add those tubes under the primaries, I just felt like it, but I seriously question if they are of any real value other than just pointing cruise mixture past the wall.

I think it was a solid plan to keep the mixture moving past the divider. In a way, that is very similar to my reasoning.

For years my PCV had been fed off a vacuum barb in a threaded hole in the intake runner to cylinder #1 just near the big "E" in Edelbrock, closer to cylinder #1 than any plenum. I never had a serious issue, but I thought might not be the best place. I needed a spacer anyway to use a different air filter I made, and so I added the hose bib to it and moved my PCV feed to a more central location .... to share the joy?
