ok, i replaced the TPS, cleaned the IAC, and i am getting a surge from 350-1300 rpm after starting my f-250 cold.
after its driven about 3-4 minutes, the surging goes away, but i still have a rough idle.
the guy i bought it from suggested it has a "breather tube" that has a hole in it on the back of the motor...but i'll be damed if i can see one back there, nor have i ever heard of one, let alone if it has a hole.
might he ba talking about the EGR tube on the front?
that looks to be in good condition.
Have you pulled the codes yet, or just replace parts? I would pull the codes, then reset the computer(disconnect battery for 4-6 hours) and the drive the truck again and pull the codes once again. If the computer wasn't reset after getting some codes, it will still think there is a problem. If there are any codes, it can lead you in the right direction.
