Fuel Line Connections
I have been dealing with my fuel pump issue for a few months now. Winter is coming so I finally dropped my rear tank. It is steal and my owners manual says it should be 18 gallons. I cannot figure out the gas line connections as they are not plastic. I did the pump on my 2006 Ranger and broke the factory connectors that were plastic and the aftermarket provided clips to replace them. I cannot do the same with this pump. What do I do to disconnect them? Can I buy just a pump without the sending unit attached. There are so many options for tanks and pumps that fit them when I search online. Thanks

OK thank you. It kind of looks like that was something that I needed to do and I have heard of those tools you're talking about. I tried uploading pictures twice but they failed to load for some reason. I will know by the weekend if my truck runs again thanks again.
