found these 2 years ago and at the time told the owners that I was interested. fast forward 2 years and they told me back in about June they were ready to sell me 4 of "dads" trucks two 32 fords and 2 40 fords. but they wanted to clean out the barn and get them "Ready" for me to see them. I guess that would be good since this was about as close as I could see them with all the stuff piled on and around them. actually appear to be a 33 and 34 ish trucks and a 41 half ton. I'm thinking the other "40" is probably a 46 or 47? parts truck but not sure? these were the quick pics I took back then so really don't know what I'm in for yet.
Anyway. I think the time is getting close to go see them. hope I can swing this deal! I know... I really need a new (different) hobby.
As long as some loud mouth doesnt go blabbing his mouth... Oh wait. Oooops to late.

They are quite a drive from me so I guess anything is possible.
I don't look for project anymore......I already have way too much. Trying to thin it out....

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Looks like i need to start hanging out in here more often. After waiting forever. I ended up with 1 33 or 34 truck, dropped axle lincoln Zephyr trans . A 1940 1/2 ton (rough) a 1941 1/2 ton Probabaly a runner? And a 40 mercury sedan and 47 ford sedan. (That was the package deal and I didnt think it was going to work out as the family selling them didnt exactly all agree in some way so the trucks did end up getting advertised locally but for crazy money. Needless to say they had no takers so in the end it worked in my favor as I got them for less than our original deal. even though the way it all happened was kinda Crappy. )
The cars will have to find new homes. The 40 ?? Dont know yet.
The sellers decided to keep the other more complete 32 -34 pickup.
Ive got a flathead with dual carbs and sharp heads max 1 cam to drop in the 34.
41 from down the lane.
I love the 41. It has a 4 speed trans original engine and turns over. Maybe a runner??
Bed has some rust otherwise fairly solid.
Sad 40. Tinman could fix the roof im sure. He is way better than the wizard!
Says Rexburg Ida on the door. Must have been a city maintenance truck for Rexburg Idaho . May have had a rack on passenger side and a nice place for a vice?
40 mercury 8 .no engine. Floors are gone!
47 sedan. No engine. Floors are gone as are a good portion of the doors and pillars. A shame too, being pretty straight and mostly complete.
Someone already put hydraulic brakes on it. Dropped axle. Zephyr trans. Just need a passenger side running board, front fenders, grill and radiator and lots of time to do something with it.
I'm not sure which feature in the pick up that I like most, the fender support or the lantern taillight!
I might have headlight trim rings (headlight doors) for the 40. I would have to check
I do have a flathead v8 to drop in the 34.
I made up the part about location for my own selfish reasons....
they were just a couple miles down the road from me and I moved them 2 on a Friday after work and 3 Saturday am.The steering wheel was locked on the 47 sedan so I disconected the drag link. The 12k badlands harber freight winch that i purchased for the "mission impossible " cabover retrieval thread broke on vehicle #4 and the 47 sedan had to be winched on by hand with the heavy duty come along. With 4 flats and both front wheels going in different directions. Got my workout!
Its time to finally rebuild or at least put new seals in the old Ramsey 12k worm drive winch for more serious winching.
The badlands winch was only 10% duty rating and would get hot fast and kick off a lot.
