Tune Up Help with Spark Plug Decision

I'm fixing to do an Tune up on my 2001 Ford Excursion 6.8 V10 Gasser 2wd , we are headed to an wedding in Chicago here next couple weeks and honestly its time for a tune up ,the plugs have been in there since the shop installed the Jasper Engine 3 yrs ago ...Went to O'reillys to buy Spark Plugs and gave me about 50 options it seem like it, I asked the guy at the parts counter which one would he suggest and all he did was Shrug his shoulders, already bought the New Boots and Coil Springs ...So my question is what spark plug is everyone else using ?...Thanks in advance !

The correct spark plug for the mighty V-10 is the Motorcraft SP-479.

X2 - use those in both our 2v Tritons - ebay $29.30 for 10.

I've always been told Motorcraft plugs or Autolite. Don't go outside those groups. I have done Autolite Iridium XP in two 5.4s now and they have been great.
