4x4 front hubs question

I’m in need of new hubs for my 350 DRW one side has positions of Lock and Free the other I cannot find any print just two dots I do not plan to use the vacuum side . So my question is weather I need ones that are Lock/Free or ones that are Lock/Auto or is there no difference?

If you don't care about the vacuum auto system working then it doesn't matter, the lock/auto hub will act as a lock/free hub. My '99's vac system didn't work, lots of leaks, so I used the auto hubs as manuals. I capped the vacuum line at the valve so it wouldn't suck any junk in when in 4wd.

I switched to manual hubs many years ago and plugged my vacuum lines too. No issues.

Also, just remember that the hubs are like a clock, clockwise is lock. So, remember clock, lock...

Get the Mile Marker 449ss hubs, very good quality for the price. Better built than the standard Warn hubs and cheaper.

Had these on a Chevy years back and really liked them. They were solid, and I used them alot in the snow, mud and sand.

Have ran WARN Premiums for 5-6 years. Have never had an issue. Those were all years of commercial snow plowing as well.

After reading that Warn and mile marker were not compatible with my dual wheel adapters I got a cheap set that matched originals. I am a machinist and could open the castings up some at work I’m not sure I could smuggle them in and out unnoticed!!

I had Mile Markers on my chevy dually. Different truck but still dually. Don't know why it wouldn't work. There has been some warn premiums that had problems in the pass with the clip or something. Still I wouldn't think twice on them as well.
