bed cap??
I am looking into adding a cap to my 03 f150. Anyone have any suggestions on which brands to look for, or look out for. I saw a brand called "are" at a local shop and it looked nice. it was selling for around 1400 though. is this an average price? does anyone have any advice?

ARE also has a cheaper brand they make. It's called MPulse. The difference between the two are mainly in better hardware (locks, windows, light assembly) with the advantage going to the ARE (of course, it's the top of the line for them). The color matched cab high cap in my 2000's pic gallery was around $850 installed with no options. The same ARE cap was $1100.
Different areas around the country and/or different shops will charge more or less... it's all about the how much the market can handle and what you're willing to spend.
