I was at my Dad's shop this morning cleaning out one of his old tool boxes to bring home. He had made the tool box years ago and painted it with the same green paint he painted his Tonner with in the early 60s. I found this in the top drawer.
He removed the glove box door years ago and mounted a radio in it's place and saved the data tag off of the glove box door. I have his Tonner now, although it actually belongs to my oldest son. So now, when we are able to restore it we can put the original data tag back on. I am excited that he saved it! I thought it was probably long gone.

Thanks for the replies. Dad got the Tonner from his brother in law about 1959. It was setting on the brother in laws farm in Pennsylvania not running. It was originally titled in PA as a 1948 Ford, probably the year it sold new. I rode many a mile in that truck as a kid either in the cab or the bed. Hopefully my son and I can restore it someday.
