My 1st time here... Hope I've done this right - if not... sorry!
Recently, my dash lights as well as my radio lights are off when ever I switch on the head lights. However, when I switch off the head light the light comes back on. How can I fix this annoying problem?
I'm no expert and I myself are having an electrical problem, but your problem sounds to me like a bad or shorted Headlight Switch. I would start by substituting the Headlight Switch.
get another at a salvage yard. Again: I am no expert and surely
there are other people here who know better, but none of them
have come forward, so this is my two cents worth.

Did you try turning the Headlight switch? There is a built in adjustment that allows you to adjust how bright your dashlights are... yours maybe turned all the way down.
If it doesn't do anything when you turn it, then replace the switch.
I had the same thing recently. I found a bad turn signal lamp in the rear. As soon as I replaced it, the problem went away. I'd look for marker lamps and turn signals. Good Luck!
My son's Sable did the same thing until I undid the radio and rehooked it to a differant power point.
When someone installed an aftermarket radio they tied into the headlight fuse.
When you turned on the headlights the radio went off.
...Putting 2 and 2 together...since you have a problem with a rear brake light in another post, I bet if you fix the brake light problem, this switch problem might go away.
