Interior: I plan to repaint everything. New front seat cover. Going to try and keep the back seat as is and clean it. New insulation and carpeting. New door and window seals. Fix head liner.
Exterior: Get the dents knocked out of the bed. New paint. I want to add the lights above the cab (I think they look cool). New rear bumper.
That's just a few things I have in mind. I will post pics and updates.
I like clearance light on the cab. ProcisionFit https://www.precisionfit.com/us/en is the company I purchased the covers for my SuperDuty. They have been on 12-14 years and don't seem to be wearing any! I use the truck for travel and farm.
There are lots of kits out there you can try. Never tried them but I have heard they are not too hard to do as long as your foam is good. The lowes in salt lake off of 4500 south has a really good reupholstery shop behind it. Cant remember the name.
I have heard the kits are easy a as long as you have enough room. The foam fills good so that should ok. A kit for a front bench is about $200.
The pain is as soon as I start on the interior I have to do it all. Seats come out, all trim, flooring, headliner, so I have to be ready and have everything purchased before I start.
Going to look brand new when I'm done.

I get that. I'm the same way. If I'm starting something better to do it all at once a d do it right. Its going to be sweet!
I was trying to decide if I was going to do the exterior or interior first. Then I realized I have to take the doors off to get the seats out and I answered my question. Definitely doing the interior first. I can just see me dropping a door with a brand new paint job.
