melted wires

Hey y'all, So need some wiring advice. Got a new truck (93' 250) and they guy before me clearly had no idea what he was doing. Wrong fuse sizes in almost all the fuses looks like he was just using what he had on hand because they were all the same size. Long story short some wires melted and fused. Managed to get the break lights working after gutting the melted ones and replacing them but still no blinkers. Flashers are somewhat working but they blink slowly and irregularly. I haven't managed to find any melted wires for the blinkers. Anyone have any advice on the best way to find these or have seen anything like this before? I would hope to avoid having to pull the dash to find it but may have to do that. Thanks!

Have you tried replacing the flasher?
You may have to replace the multi-function switch, but lets start with a flasher as its cheap
