This might be a dumb question but i just have to know, doing some research on an IFS front and rear setup. So assembly line rolled down same frames and only put on heavier drivetrains according to the build sheet ?? Interested in front of frame channels compared to F100's to F250's. If IFS setup i want is for F100 will my '68 frame be the same ?? Just curious and i don't know where to look on this site so figured i would ask before messing with google.

Most F100 (and C10) guys use the Crown Vic front sub frame and suspension when installing IFS. AKA the C/V swap. I have seen a couple guys on here with an F250 that installed one also.
Thanks for the info. Its fun for me to look at aftermarket parts since they seem to be making some great products for these older trucks. Even kicked around idea of some fiberglass parts from usbody but don't know how i feel about fiberglass in my backside. Guess if it comes to that part fiberglass will be the least of my worries. Think just a frame with fiberglass parts would be either lots of fun or downright scary. To build truck the way i want requires a large bank balance but looking doesn't cost much.
