Cold start 7.3 diesel
If anyone can help I have an 01 f250 7.3 that will not start below 30 degrees F, had glow plugs,block heater checked and batteries are practically new. Above 30° truck will fire right up,any ideas

Hold the leads to a volt meter across the two large studs on the glow plug relay. Have someone turn the key to ON. The voltage across the relay will drop to near zero when the relay engages, then come back to battery voltage when the relay clicks off.
Note - if you have a California truck, you may have a glow plug control module instead of a relay.
