Neighbor came over and helped, once in place it's just 2 bolts. If Frances were stronger we could have done it. I can lift the hood myself just not in the position I need it and not scratching the hell out of the paint..

Hood isn't really heavy, just awkward to lift off and on yourself. I did it several times before I started doing any body work..Had no fear of scratching things then...
Yes it does, and I copied the design and made the same for the pickup. It's handy in some ways and not in others. I've been thinking of making a pulley system in the shop where I can lift it straight up and suspend it from the ceiling then move the truck out of the way so it can be stored out of the way if I need to do any major work on them and don't have any nearby help...

Here's another shot as I was tearing it down to change out the cross member. Notice all the road dirt from the construction from last year. That's all cleaned off now, over the winter I'll be under the back end with a scrub brush and wearing my oilers....lol
