I just saw on tonights news that the City took our first payment of the rain tax and bought a piece of riverfront property to build apartments on. Then the EPA slapped an $800000 fine on them for not repairing the sewage overflow into the river that the tax was originally for.

This state is so crooked that they want to install a meter on all licensed vehicles in the state to tax the amount that one drives.

There will be a lot of homes for sale in Illinois.

Then they will want to tax homeowner's that aren't residents of the state because their houses didn't sell.

That is just ridiculous..

We have an excise tax that is based on the vehicle value that is supposed to be for road repairs

I would be leaving that state while the property values are still up there
