Good evening Illinois, Rod, Pat, Sean, Ken, John, and Neil!

Was a beautiful day to go to a doctor's appointment for my yearly. Guess I'll live for another year because he made another appointment for next September. Also got a flu shot.

Howdy Rick, good to hear that you appointment went well. My wife and I got our flu shots last Saturday so we are set and hopefully will not get the flu this winter.

John, they have been available since the beginning of the month at some of the chain pharmacy stores. That is were we got ours..

I might stop into the clinic just to see if they are giving them earlier this year..

No problem Sean.

John, my employer has two flu shot clinics each year and normally they are later in October/November. The first one was last week and the second one is in another week or so.

I used to get them at the mine some years and other years at the clinic in town here, depended who I heard from first..

The first one at the county was in a building across the street from mine so it was easy to get to, but I was not able to get away from my desk to go over.

My wife never gets them but I've been getting them for 15 or more years now

She never get the flu and very seldom gets a cold. Since I retired I haven't had a cold either but got on or two of them a year when I was working underground and in a cage full of men the had sick kids at home...lol
