My truck had one of those but the NYS inspection ***** made me remove it since it was "interfering" with the placement of the yearly inspection sticker. I cried a little bit when they scraped it off

Fixed it for you There are cheaper alternatives available that IMO are not worth it.

I think it's also called a fuel pump pickup filter. the little mesh thing in the tank to keep debris out of the pump inlet.

Whatever it is, it appears that when it gets "busted busted" it takes away your ability to include punctuation when you type.
Its a shame that he didn't include pictures (and some punctuation) as $5k for a 6.0 EX in decent shape with 170K miles might be a nice little project rig.

And it's an '05 with 4x4 in Florida so potentially little to no rust. Good find.
