I have a 1986 Bullnose 6.9 IDI with faulty dual tank valve. I have a 1989 Bricknose 7.3 IDI with faulty front tank, broken fuel pickup. But it has a good new dual tank valve.

I want to swap the good front tank out of the 1986 Bullnose into the 1989 Bricknose. Does anybody know if they are compatible or the same?

 

I have an 86 IDI 6.9 and a '91 IDI 7.3, and I can't see any difference between the two as far as fuel tanks go.
