Ready to cut the frame.
Well I took the body off the '66 2wd F250 long bed and pulled the engine and trans off the frame and pulled the engine and trans off the '79 shorty 4x4 F150 frame this weekend, so I'm ready to cut and splice. I'm going to cut the '79 2" behind the center-line of the rear cab mount bolts, then remove 11" from the '66 frame and splice it on. After that I will design and build a 4 corner air ride suspension with parallel bars in the rear. The end result is suppose to be a '66 4x4 with a 7'-1" stepside bed.
