BENCH SEAT REPLACEMENT

Been on the lookout for 93-96 f150 bench and just gave up. Been looking to spend $200 or less. The leathers another $350-400 of i reupholstered it myself. 600-759 if I had a shop do it. The seats start at 400 on eBay. There’s a set out of a 2001 Tahoe, the seller is looking for $950. Lol that’s ridiculous. About 7 years ago I paid $400 for front and backseat in a Jeep grand. That same set is $1200. What happened? Was there some kind of insane part inflation or economic disaster I didn’t hear about?

Guess ill just buy the foam and leather for the bench I have in the truck. Any way to tell if it’s the original seat? I don’t want to buy the wrong upholstery.

59 step side by the way. 292 engine, 3 speed auto trans, so looking for a t5 or c4 replacement. $235 for the new bell housing isn’t a bad deal at all imo. Getting about 9 mpg to the gallon on the way to work, lol. Have the new tank to move to the bed, got to pick up the rest of the kit to move it.
