Door code
I purchased my F350 from out of town. They delivered it. When i looked in the manual for the code it wasnt in there. I called and said they didnt even have it in there books. But i could bring it to them and they would scan it for free to tell me what it is. Well dont really want to spend a day driving and waiting to get this done. They did say local Ford would do it but charge me 100.00 any advice on any other way to find it?

Was your owners manual still wrapped in plastic when you got it? The card is always visible thru the clear plastic. If it wasn’t in there then Ford owes you one, and not for $100! On the other hand, if it wasn’t wrapped in plastic that means someone at the dealer opened it and lost the card in which case they owe you a new one, and not in exchange for an all day drive. If you’ve flipped thru all the pages of books and pamphlets in there and any secret pockets in the black bag and checked both glove boxes and under the seats and above the visors with no luck then I’d be raising some hell with the selling dealer.

I had an 88 Lincoln that had stickers with the code in various places like the trunk..

Did you check in the hidden area under the left cup holder? Slide left cup holder to the right, lift out removable tray then lift out bottom, look for little tab on right to help lift out.
You will see a key shape on the bottom area. Hopefully you will see your security code card first.

How many digits are in the code? Dealer set mine up for me and I know basic numbers used with can't remember if we used one or two zeros before the sequence...? I know, I m dense! Hey I m old and retired too!
