I've seen these on a few other Ford trucks, including a Bumpside near where I grew up. These go back to at least the 1970s. I don't recall ever seeing them on any GM or Mopar trucks.
I'm pretty sure these were originally chrome, and that this one is just weathered and dirty.
I dont recall ever seeing a Ford rim like that either. Could be some aftermarket or possibly a dodge pickup? They shared the 5 x 5.5 for a long while.
I like how they list that as a 41xxx mi pickup on the auction site. Uhhhh......
People, I swear...
IDK. The wheel looks sort of like a MOPAR rally (car) wheel but hub cap is too big and bolt pattern is wrong.
FWIW the snap of the body shows surface rust. Not too bad. As a potential truck buyer, I would prefer visible surface rust to deeper rust hidden by a paint job and bondo.
I think, repeat think; those are International Scout wheels. I had a set of 4 given to me for a car hauler/trailer a few years ago. They were chrome like you are thinking and I'm pretty darn sure those are the same. Google" International Scout Wheels" and see if you can conjour up some pics. gary

Bam! It looks like you nailed it!
I definitely remember seeing these on a green '67-'69 Bumpside near my house, when I was a kid. I think I must've seen them on another Ford truck, and assumed that they were Ford wheels.
