If the heavy tow package doesn’t include a sway bar, you can add an after-market one for $3-400, if memory serves. They’ve been discussed here on the forum, but I didn’t give them much attention since mine came with one.
We've lived here for 20 years and like it better than any other area we’ve lived in. The smokey summers are getting old, though - not that they’re isolated to this area, by any means.
I believe the camper package requires 18" wheels. 20" are standard on Platinum F250 & F350 so the camper package is not available.
We recently completed a road trip from San Diego to Mamoth Lakes, Lassen Volcanic NP and Valley of the Rogue State Park. The first 150 miles were smoke free. The next 750 were oppressively smokey and hot. What a crappy combination! It wasn't until we left Southern Oregon and headed over the the Redwoods that we could breathe again. It really put a damper on things.
Started checking COTUS about a week after I place my order. I received a VIN after three weeks or so. A build date was never provided by COTUS but my delivery date started at 10/28 then 10/24 and finally 11/3. It has stayed there for the last couple weeks. Last week, my dealer gave me a 11/8 build date but when I logged on to COTUS this morning the status was upgraded to "in production". No window sticker yet.
