Automatics offered today by all car builders give you far more control over your vehicle than ever before. You can get into several different modes of driving just by the push of a button and lastly, if you tow a lot, you have tow haul / mode and manual mode. While I agree that there is a certain attraction to sliding a lever through the gears, I've gotten over it it pretty quickly with my amazingly reliable and fun to drive F-150 ecoboost.

Sound like the smart move would be to wait a year or 3 and wait for some options, not what ford is trying to force down your throat like NO engine options

I would've liked a manual transmission option as well.
