Mechanical Fuel Pump Question
I got a question on the OEM style mechanical fuel pumps.
Is there a difference between fuel pumps for small block fords depending on carburation?
I ask because I have a '82 F150 and I know the fuel pump is the same style 289-302-351W and my '78 351W has the same fuel pump even down to the hard line size as my '82 302.
Im doing a swap around on my truck and I am wondering if the stock pump would be enough for a 600 CFM 4V.
Im going on the belief that the mechanical fuel pumps were used on 2V and 4Vs but I just want to verify that is the case.
