2011 F250 broken stud

I was rotating my tires yesterday and broke a stud. Just curious if I have to replace the whole assembly or can I replace just the individual stud itself? This is for the rear drivers side wheel assembly.

Thanks

You can replace the stud. There are several videos on youtube showing how, easy job.

If you pull the rotor to get at the hub, check the park brakes for wear.

Also check the caliper slide pins to make sure they move freely. Grease them anyway, even if they do.

X2

Since you are already in there, clean and grease the caliper pins. It’s only an extra few minutes of work.

Grease the ball joints, too, if they have zerks.
