traction bars are worth it for any leaf sprung truck IMO. the difference its very noticeable. Just weld the frame mounts to the frame, you'll never need to worry about them rattling loose :shrug:
Yes, I strongly agree traction bars help a great deal. Loved what the Landyot Radius Rods did to improve the ride quality of both of my Excursions. Weld to the frame? Unless you're an experienced welder and know how to control heat shock on high strength / tensile steel, you'll most likely ruin your frame. The radius rods were welded to the spring perches, stampings made of mild steel which were riveted to the frame rails. It is never a good idea to weld on the frame rails.

I welded tabs to my u bolt plates the bushings for the bars bolted to those, then made some brackets with angle iron that had tabs welded on, the Heim on the front of the bar would bolt to that, angle iron welded to the frame. this was on my titan. lol
