2002 F250 4x4 - Popping noise

Ok, so just replaced all 4 "upper and lower" ball joints....Literally today. I still have this popping noise, i noticed my steering drag link moves but could this be it? what have you had happen? Some say the locking hubs gets stuck? I have noticed/feel the noise when driving any speed and i hit bumps. I can feel it in the floor under my boots popping... I don't feel anything loose (other then the steering drag link). I tried pulling my grill guard and pushing it to make the truck bounce, no noise and i had it moving pretty good; ima pretty strong and big dude. Now here's my thought... could that steering drag link make me feel the popping in the floorboard? Im so lost... i just dropped 800 on this thing and this popping is driving me nuts. The Track bar seems solid, i shook the hell out of it and it didn't seem to move.

Anything helps,

Thanks!

I actually just fixed an issue like this.

I would turn a corner and hear/ feel a popping noise from my front end.
Turned out to be my top shock bushing. I could reach in and literally move my shock in a twisting motion it was so loose.

was thinking the same thing as I read his post.

Had my rear shock mount come loose about two years ago. Drove me nuts for six months trying to figure it out.

Wiggle all your shocks; there should be zero movement. Even the slightest mivement will make sound throughout the truck

Thanks ya'll i do believe my hub is going out on my driver side as well, so time to break down and see if its the shocks or hub i know they both can cause similar issues. My dad also said something about the "cat thing" for the shocks... idk what he's talking about lol

If feeling it at your feet over bumps check the leaf spring isolators where your front leaf springs bolt up to the truck. You will see 4 of them at the front and back connecting points. I had the same issue several years ago that was driving me nuts. Mine were bad more so in the back parts which is why I could feel it with my feet through the floor board. At the time you could only get the replacement plastic parts from Ford...but they actually weren't all that bad though some of that was because if fixed an annoying problem. You can do a search on here and find the part number for them if that is indeed your issue.
