at full turn why do i feel a popping and...

I replaced my shocks thinkin that it was the origional ones makin a bunch of noise and then found out my sway bar links were bad then replaced em now I notice a popping noise at full turn as well as a knocking noise when I hit a bump it sounds like its somewhere in the steering linkage

Could the popping be my ball joints??

Check your balljoints and hubs for play. Also look the whole steering linkage over and make sure all is good and solid. May help to get the front off the ground and check the whole front suspension for movement. Not unheard of to break things and then only hear noises under certain conditions.

Mine did the same thing and when I backed up it would make the same noise. Come to find out my U-joints were cracked.

I, too, vote for a factory hub that failed to unlock.

I agree, just did my dads truck, has a popping noise when driving. Hubs were fine but wheel bearing and front joints were TOTALLY shot.
