What are these brackets?

Anybody know what these brackets are on the frame? They are not welded on, but are clamped to the bottom of the frame in 3 different spots above the leaf springs. A couple of them had threaded rod bolted to them, but they are not connected to anything.

Thanks in advance.

Mine had something similar, but they were oriented downward and had large rubber bumpers to stop leaf spring over-travel. Mine also had overload springs clamped to the original leaf springs. I'm sure, they aren't stock.

Yea, that's what I thought. There' no rubber left on mine. That and because there were only 3 of them made me wonder.
