Anyone experience water coming out of their overhead console? This morning on the way to work I had water pour out of the buttons on the overhead console. As far as I know there are no holes in the roof of my cab. I guess I will check around my clearance lights, maybe something is getting in through there. I will have to remove the console when I get home and investigate. Let me know if you have any ideas or if anyone has had this issue.
If you figure it out let me know. Mine's been leaking 2 years. Had the whole console off for a year to try and determine the source. So far I'm pretty sure I've eliminated all my clearance lights as the source, but all the sheet metal above the console is damp and drippy when it rains good
Beginning to wonder if it makes it in from my rear bedlight/brake light all the way forward.
I'd suspect clearance lights first, windshield second, that's if it's possible for the windshield to leak into it. I don't have one so I can't see how high it sits.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this problem. This is new for me, it just started today. I will be checking the clearance lights first, and looking at the bedlight is a good idea too. I will let you know if I find anything out.
I wonder if it could come from the sliding glass on the rear window? I know that when I go through one of those express car washes, I can reach back and wipe soapy water off the interior of the window seal. Could be running along the roof line to the front. I do not have any water that I can tell at the overhead console, but this popped in my head when I read your post.

I didn't think of that, I will check that out as well. Since this is the first time I noticed it, I hope that I can trace where it's coming in and stop it before it gets worse.
