changing mirrors

I am going to change my mirrors away from home. I need to know what size and what tools I will need as I cannot take them all. Thanks guys.

Im pretty sure you'll be ok with a metric socket set and some screwdrivers?

IIRC, you need a 8mm to remove he door panels and 12/13mm socket to remove the mirrors themselves.

Speakers are removed with something odd like 5.5mm. Not a standard socket.

I'm not criticizing here, just curious. You don't carry a small assortment of tools when traveling in your EX? I'm a realist and at some level always expect something on a 14 year old vehicle to need a bit of attention, so I do carry a few small tool bags with enough to take care of most small jobs on the road. So far though my EX has treated me pretty well with it's away game needs.
As the guys above have said, a metric socket set and a few screwdrivers should get the job done, good luck and I'm sure you will enjoy the new rear view in those mirrors!

Looked at the OP's profile and I see a '03 EX listed. I just switched mirrors on my '03 EX last week and didn't have to remove the speakers as there is just the 1 rectangular plug to deal with. IIRC, I had to remove the speakers on my '00 EX with the 2 separate round connectors.
