My right front turn signal quit working the other day. Parking light and side marker light worked but no turn signal. After swapping out bulbs and having no success, I traced the lead all the way back to the firewall junction block and it checked out as good using a volt ohm meter.
Finally pulled the cover off the steering column and this is where I found the problem. The connector that plugs into the turn signal switch is not holding the pin connectors in place. The wires with their pin connector ends are easily pulled out and do not "click" into place on one side of the connector.
Not being well versed in how the pin connectors are secured into the plastic plug I am not sure if I need new ends on the wires or a new plastic plug?
Having pulled a few pins out to tap into them, remove the spade and you'll see either 1 or 2 "fangs" that ned to be soread out so when inserted into the plastic plug, they"ll then rebound out over the "lip" within the plughole to finally secure the spade in place
