Wonky signal light

Hey guys; I'm new to this but I am frusturated. I have a 2002 supercrew. Right signal flashes fast, left one normal. I changed the bulbs, worked fine for a day then fast again. Next day took the rear light out again and it worked fine. Left for work the next day and flashing fast again. I don't know what to do next.
Thanks;

If it's flashing fast, there is a bulb out on that side.
Check for burnt out bulbs or bad connections.

Turn on the turn signal on the side that doesnt work and while it is failing tilt the steering columb up and down. If it works and goes away as you are tilting up and down the connector at the back side of the multifunction switch has broken plastic pin retainers and you will need to replace the hardshell connector. You can purchase it at the Ford dealer for under $15.00US
