I posted this link in another thread (on towing capacity) but that is not the best place to bury it. Recent article in the Detroit Free Press about auto safety systems, and it notes that Ford will be putting standard safety systems on ALL new vehicles it introduces including the Ranger. They call their system "Co-Pilot 360" and it has a comprehensive suite of safety features. Buyers want this stuff once they have it (I am completely spoiled by adaptive cruise control after having it for a little while) and it beats the heck out of fancy trim packages because it might actually save a life or keep you out of an accident.

I agree, the towing capacity thread was not the correct one to talk about these features. Just be sure to tell the whole story, not just the "feel good" sales pitch.
