The three big box home improvement stores around here Have a library of books that a novice can read to learn about what they're trying to do.

I changed out a sill **** for the cheapskates a long time ago and they bltched about the price until I reminded them that I had to crawl over scads of crap stacked up in the basement with no path to where I needed to go.

If they didn't leave the hose on it all winter it wouldn't have broke.LOL
