I bought my 61 F100 with a broken drivers door window and a new replacement from LMC in the box with it. I attempted to install it today without much luck. It does not move up and down in the tracks anything like the old broken one did. Its almost like the window is thicker than the original. I can't seem to get it to move freely and when I get about 2 inches from the top I have to force it up and down. Any suggestions to what I am doing wrong?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I think you may be running into the old made in China/Thailand/Taiwan problem. All the glass they make is 6MM thick about .236 inches the original glass was 3/16 thick about .180 inches. Providing the glass is centered in the lift channel it's going to be a little tight for awhile especially if your anti rattles are new. If that is the problem you can use a wooden stick and tweak around on the anti rattle strips an try to spread them apart some. When I replaced my glass I called all the regular suppliers and asked how thick their glass was, all of them said 6mm.
I think you hit the nail on the head Crop Duster!! The glass felt heavier to me. Its a shame we are only offered Jap parts when it comes to replacement. I went to my local Ford dealer for a part for this truck, even had the part number and could not get them to even attempt to look it up! I have a local Napa auto parts store that has been in business for years and has a parts man that has and knows how to use the old catalogs to look up parts up. I know its still Jap parts but their always cheaper than any of the LMC type catalogs and parts are here the next morning without the shipping cost.
I agree with shopping the local NAPA first. If it's mechanical or electrical they usually have it or can get it pretty quick. If you want Motorcraft branded stuff though I've found Rock auto to be about the only place left to get it at a reasonable price.
