We ordered 7-18-18
Received a Vin 8-20-18 (from the dealer)
downloaded (1st appeared ) Sticker 8-31-18
In a box to the left of the "TOTAL MSRP box it lists RAIL.
Obviously this is the mode of transportation, but does it mean that it is on a rail car now?
The dealer is saying that the delivery date is 17 Sept. I hope so, my 3K PCO expires on 1 Oct
Regards
Bill

No, this has nothing to do with status of transit. Just indicates it will go by rail when it ships.

Getting close! I’m waiting on my call, because my dates are nearly identical- ordered same day and my window sticker date is one day later than yours.

Wait, you're saying you are expecting the truck at the dealer 7 days after the build date?

I am not sure how accurate the ETIS site is but it is showing Flyct's truck as a build date of 9-5-18. It also has not populated all of his options yet.

I also ordered my truck on 7-6 and it was built on 8-30 and as of 0300 this am it was passing Pine Bluff Arkansas on the way to Houston to be unloaded. My original ETA to the dealer has also moved up a week to 16-22 Sept instead of 23-29 September. It could be that they are finally just moving the vehicles out of the plant to the rail head sooner.

Interested to know how you are able to track your truck after it left the factory, I have one in transit but no more info from there.

With sales down in Q2-18, part of me wonders if they are prioritizing orders (trucks with a ready buyer) over dealer stock to some degree.

I called my salesman today after I got a $2000 conquest offer in the ford app to ask if we could stack this with the $3000 pco I have. I asked him if he had an update and he pulled it up. All dealers have the capability to track the rail cars but most either don't know or don't care.

This will be the 8th vehicle we have bought from Ryan Ford since 2011.

i just quoted what the sales manager said. I believe he told me it would be here the week of 9/13 but he didn’t have a rail car yet.

So tell me more about the conquest offer. Was it on a Super duty? Are you able to stack it with a PCO?

Can't stack it with the PCO. IT is for F150 and SuperDuty. I just posted a thread about it. Didn't want to muddy up someones thread.

Interesting you mention this, because I have found out the EXACT OPPOSITE!

7/28 - I put in a order for my 19 F250
8/1 - I asked to change the color from Magnetic to Bluejeans. (Dealer said no problem)
8/31 - My order was processed
8/4 - Order "In production" with a delivery date of 9/25.
9/6 - The truck that I originally ordered on 7/28 SHOWED UP AT THE DEALER AS PART OF THEIR STOCK.

I thought about calling up and saying "Hey, for three weeks less wait, I can absolutely live with the Magnetic" LOL.

Just found it very interesting how ordered within 3 days of eachother and the dealer truck shows up 3 weeks earlier.
