Anyone else here having issues with Sync3 and their Samsung smartwatch playing nice together? I have had this truck for a little over a month now. At first I didn't have any issues. Now a majority of the time when my phone connects via Bluetooth to sync it will disconnect from my watch. After turning the truck off it also fails to reconnect. Thanks.

Interesting. I had no idea that SYNC 3 was compatible with a Samsung watch.
I have the same problem but it doesn't do it all the time. I also noticed the same problem connecting if it's between my Android phone (Samsung) and an OBDII bluetooth adapter and Sync. I think the issue is with the phones ability to manage more than one bluetooth session.
No problems with mine and a note 8
Update your watch
Phone and watch software are on the latest updates. So that's not it. Like the other poster mine doesn't always disconnect...maybe 7 times out of 10 it does. Very frustrating.

Its my never ending battle that I have just gotten accustomed to. I get in the truck, have to reconnect my phone, most times. Sometimes disconnected first, then connect again. Sometimes right away. I did have a problem with the watch disconnecting but after a watch reset (new Motorola phone), I haven't had the issue except maybe once or twice in a few months. Maybe you could try a watch reset?
Bluetooth. It just works great, except for when it doesn't. Hey, at least its not fire-wire or some of those other protocols they were pushing 15 years ago.
hey, don't knock firewire. in my line of work (and many others) that was a critical technology for a long time. It gave us faster transfer speeds well before USB caught up and lapped it. Faster speeds is a huge deal when time is money and you need to transfer a few TB of data.
Anyway, what kind of phone is doing this? I assume Samsung, but which one? My S9 doesn't do that at all (yet?). It will disconnect call audio and media but the notifications etc still work fine. afaik, no samsung devices support two connections to remote call audio at the same time. I'm not sure *any* do
