I know I've read about this somewhere but can't remember where. This is the grille from my 55 F100 Panel. Number 1 is -- is this the correct grille? And, what about the 'teeth'? I've looked at the Ford parts book and some of the other manuals for the 53-56 F100's but none of them show the 'teeth'. Can someone enlighten me about these? Sorry about the large photos, my Photoshop isn't working today.
One other quick question -- on the VIN - is S and SS both Special Color? Mine shows a S but the VIN decoders don't show S just SS as a Special Color.
Thanks for the help. I guess I was looking too much for the 'teeth' and not the basic grille. My last old vehicle and I'm trying hard to hang on to it despite the fact that I'm not sure if I can get a chance to work on it physically or financially.
