5R110 differences

I'm looking for a little info on the particulars of our transmission. My truck is a 2004 Crew Cab, 2wd, short bed with a 2 piece drive shaft. What are the differences in a slip yoke and a non-slip yoke? Also, my truck shows to have a PTO but I think this must just be a transmission option because it doesn't (it has an access plate on the side of the case IIRC?). The non-slip yoke w/ PTO is quite a bit cheaper than the slip yoke without, that's why I'm asking.

The slip yoke transmission has a slip yoke driveshaft that inserts into the trans. The non=slip yoke trans has a flange that bolts to the end. Is that what you're asking?

If you don't use a PTO then it doesn't matter if you have a PTO enable trans or not.

That's exactly what I needed to know. My drive shaft has a flange that bolts to the end of the transmission and that's not what the parts guy is telling me by my VIN. Thanks Mark.
