I saw my first Ford F450 Superduty yesterday. It is the first one configured as a pickup. I was very impressed. It has massive brakes. It is a 2018 F450 King Ranch, delivered to Ripley Fletcher Ford in South Paris, Maine on Tuesday.. Traveled over a hundred miles to see it Wished it had the 360 degree cameras, as my 2017 F350 King Ranch Dually has. I will have to keep looking.
I have a 17 F450 Platinum. Best pickup I've ever owned. Had diesel since 1994 (dodge). After dodge Cummins had several Duramax dually pickups. Frankly, all were good and served my purposes well. The 450, however, is in a league of its own in my opinion. It's powerful and comfortable with unbelievable camera views, outstanding turning radius, which is a giant plus and while not too important it also looks good. If you're thinking about the 450 drive it...that'll help make up your mind.
Have a 17' 350 dually and test drove a F450 as I kept hearing about how nice the turning radius was....Oh my! The thing turns so tight I thought I was going to break something in the front haha. I went home and ordered one as soon as the 2020 order banks opened. Got a 450 limited on the way. Neither the wife or myself could tell ANY difference in ride quality between my current 350 dually and the 450. I honestly thought it drove very nice.
The 350 drw & 450 heights are almost the same as they have the same suspension & spring packs. Only thing that makes the 450 sit a touch taller is the 31.9” tall 225/70r19.5s vs the 31.5” tall 245/75/17s.
450 vs 350 main differences are the wider front axle, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, 4.30 gears & fender flares. Just about everything else is the same.
I love our F450, the turning radius and power are awesome. Towing our new 2020 Sandpiper 41' Fifth wheel 14000 lbs back home from dealer last week it was great! Totally different than towing our old 36' travel trailer.
We have had our 2019 KR F-450 for just over 3 months and have 10,500 miles on it. It is one AWESOME truck. I will never go back to a 350. I find myself constantly stating out loud to the wife, "we could not have done that in the Ram 3500". Adaptive steering, adaptive cruise, sharp turn radius, massage seats, this truck has it all.....almost. I do miss the front bumper sensors for pulling headfirst into a parking spot. I can turn on the front camera, but that requires me to do it. Front sensors that do it automatically would be the bomb!!

When you get to the 450 class, Chevy/Ram are no shows, minor league players just not franchise players.
Cannot wait for my '20 F450 King Ranch to arrive...
