When you reflash the PCM, the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) is cleared. All the learning the PCM has done is gone. With the fly-by-wire throttle on the 3-valve, I would expect a longer than expected start. Especially if you didn't let it sit in "key on" a few seconds before going to start.
If it continues to do it, I'd be concerned. In the meantime, ENJOY!
(BTW: I never felt a lot more power in my 2-valve 2001 V10 with the 5-star tune, maybe a little more throttle response. But it took a full second off the 0-60 (went from 10 to 9 seconds) most likely because of the shifting changes)).
I called 5 star the other day to ask if they could do an 87 daily tow type tune with the rear O2 sensors turned off for an offroad truck and they told me they could not do this. Period, end of call. Not sure what is going on with them except maybe pressure from the feds for providing offroad tunes but they lost a customer over it.
