Can someone tell me if the Fox unit comes out of the box with a plastic band keeping compressed? My last one did not ( another story) and a new one is on the way. Just curious here if its under pressure. Thanks
I put one on my truck last night. It did have the plastic band on it right out of the box. Mine was under a very slight pressure when the band was removed.

Reason: Incomplete
Nice to know, thanks guys.......(I had ordered one from Suspension Connection, it looked "used" right out of the box and there was not a plastic band around the ends. Also the stabilizer had no gas pressure at all, so back it went. And my new one is supposed to show up today).
Do you have the link to the one you bought? Reading on the Death Wobble thread and people are saying this helps it out but doesnt fix the problem. I dont have death wobble but I've hit a bump on a city road with a turning lane in the middle at 35mph and it put me into the middle turning lane without me being able to control it. Brought it in to Ford and they said it looked fine so hoping that this will help the problem. Basically every decent bump I hit, it almost feels like i'm on ice and no control over truck.

Mine is stock no lift - installed the FOX 2.0 shocks and the hop is gone. Ride is firmer which may bother some folks.

Thanks, I ordered the stabilizer yesterday so we will give that a try and then if its still bad enough I'll try that. I'm not worried about stiff ride just dont wanna be bounced around every which way.

Maybe you said so - is your rig lifted or stock? Will be interested how it goes with the stabilizer
