Do a Google search on said package for a 2015 Lariat.
All of the specs and option packages are available online.
Are you buying this from a non Ford used car dealer?
On our 2018 Max Tow came with an upgraded rear bumper, larger cooler, 3.55 gears, the large fuel tank, upgraded hitch, integrated trailer brake controller, that dial that helps you back up the trailer(pretty stupid unless you've never pulled a trailer in you life), and some suspension upgrades.
I agree with the little **** being stupid. I had to get it on mine just to get the trailer tow package but I promise I will never use it. for one thing it is down too low., but mainly becase I have been backing trailers for more than 50 years! I worked on a farm, so kinda had to learn plus drovwe truck for a number of years.
For those that don't know you can do the same thing by grabbing the bottom of the steering wheel and turning it the direction you want the trailer to go. easy to remember. top for forward, bottom to back up either wy turn the way you want to go.
Having just bought a new 2018, but almost forced into a non-Max Tow Packaged truck, I did a bit of research. If you order the Trailer Package and Integrated Brake Control, you get everything the MaxTow has except the HD rear bumper... which still is a "whooptie-do"in my book. Anyone Tow from a bumper anymore? Yep. That's what I figured. The Trailer Package mandated the high-capacity cooling and transmission cooler anyway, and the Max Tow cuts payload.
My 2013 Max Tow had a 3.73, large mirrors, and a different rear end + other heavy duty items the ones didn't have it. I didn't order the Max Tow with the 2018 and made a mistake by not ordering 3.73's again every thou I don't tow as much anymore. With 3 overdrives in the 10 speed I think the lower gears would now be a lot better than with the 6 speed which had only one and no 1 to 1 in the trans...7 th is 1 to 1 in the 10 speed.

The 10-speed is out of 1 and 2 so quickly, it seems it never was there. First is very low.
The 3.73 is only available in the Heavy Duty Payload, I think.

There is a reason for the re-enforced bumper with Max Tow and it isn't for bumper pulling. The standard bumper doesn't provide the re-enforcement for a Class IV hitch which you get with Max Tow (12k lbs GTW / 1200 lbs TW ). The standard tow package gets a Class III hitch ( 8k lbs GTW / 800 lbs TW ).

Ah, yes. I never thought of that. Thanks for clarifying.

Strange. I have a class IV hitch without the re-enforced bumper. I have the med duty tow pkg.
Sorry, don't have pics of other brackets, but this is a max tow bracket. Someone awhile back on the other forum changed the bumpers/hitches out and the only difference he could find is where the safety chains attach. I would like a Raptor bumper/hitch for the welded on tow hooks (to go with my Raptor bumper) but don't want to lower my tow ratings.
