Stalling
my 94 460 has recently started stalling when I put in in reverse. I put it back in park and it starts back up and then to reverse and it’ll run and back up. Any thoughts. I’m not anywhere I have any trust in a place to take it for diagnosis

I have not has the issue myself, but I have read before that what is most likely is happening is that your transmission filter has fallen off. There is a clip sold to prevent it, pretty common apparently. I am changing my filter and pan this weekend and bought the clip to be safe. Another issue
So tranny service underway but another issue found, 4” tube that dipstick tube goes into has a crack in it and is leaking. Part is obsolete from ford, does anyone know where I can come by new one?
